This April, Geary Gallery will present “Canvases of the Cosmos,” an exhibition of luminous works by Connecticut-based visionary artist Roland Comtois. A special reception with the artist will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the gallery. The exhibition will open April 1 and remain on view through April 30. Admission is free and open to all.
Following acclaimed gallery showings and exhibitions throughout New England, Comtois continues his celebrated series Canvases of the Cosmos with a new body of work that explores art as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. Known for his radiant palettes and dynamic compositions, Comtois creates paintings that evoke cosmic landscapes, energetic movement, and profound emotional depth. Each canvas invites viewers into a visual meditation on light, color, and the unseen forces that connect all living things.
About Roland Comtois
To define Roland Comtois, visionary artist, is to be challenged. Each facet of the artist – painter, spiritual medium, author, storyteller, performer, motivational speaker – is like a brushstroke on the canvas of his extraordinary life.
Comtois’ decades long spiritual journey has been a bottomless source of renewable energy! His unstoppable creativity has been channeled into a litany of accomplishments. He’s authored three books, with more to come, his live events consistently sell out, and he created and performs in a one-man stage production.
After so many milestones in the supernatural world, painting is the next – and natural – progression. Comtois’ artwork mesmerizes. Science, spirituality, beauty, and complexity swirl together, like the shifting patterns of a turning kaleidoscope. Each incredible visual narrative is a silent symphony of bold color and dynamic patterns. Every piece in his collection extends the same invitation to the viewer: embark on a journey through outer – and inner – space.
With a global audience of devoted followers and a portfolio of media coverage, Comtois is fast becoming a shooting star. His deeply evocative paintings are being sought after by galleries nationwide, who hear the buzz loud and clear. Alan Steinfeld, global media producer and author of the best-selling book, Making Contact: The New Realities of ETs, puts it in perspective beautifully: “Roland Comtois’s series is nothing less than revolutionary.”
Comtois is widely recognized as a visionary artist, author, and internationally respected intuitive and spiritual teacher. His artwork reflects decades of creative exploration and spiritual practice, combining expressive color, symbolic imagery, and intuitive energy to create paintings that resonate deeply with viewers. His works are held in private collections and have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Northeast.
