Michael Aiezza was born in Italy. He lives and paints in Connecticut. Returning to Europe frequently, he actively paints in Sweden and Italy. He also regularly visits Maine to paint the sea.
Aiezza received a BA degree from the University of Connecticut, Storrs CT, and an MA degree from the School of International Service, Washington DC.
Working in international business after graduate school, he was President of Vanderburgh & Co. in Manhattan, NY, and later, a partner at Columbia Restoration in Connecticut.
Michael attended The Art Students League as well as the National Academy in New York City, studying with Ronald Sherr, Harvey Dinnerstein, and Peter Cox. He also studied with Don Stone on Monhegan Island, Maine.
Michael’s paintings are collected by private and corporate clients in the United States and abroad. He has exhibited in many solo and group shows in the United States and Italy.
