My wanderlust lifestyle and collection of eclectic photographs from my travels are the source of my inspiration. Everything I see, feel and experience contributes to the depth and fervor of my work. I am constantly traveling, learning and re-inventing myself through my art. I spent five years of college studying around the world. Various universities, artist communities and bars in Spain, Australia and New York molded me into the artist I am today. My continued love of perpetual exploration is easily reflected in my contrasting bodies of work. With richly saturated hues and evocative forms I aim to capture the soul and style of each subject. My liquid impressionistic brush strokes reflect my free spirited spontaneity – it is deliberate, yet borne out of the moment. — Sam Malpass
