Sandra is a resident of Rowayton, CT, and a member of the Rowayton Arts Center. She attended New Rochelle High School and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mt. Holyoke College. She has been in many juried shows and has received numerous awards for her paintings. She works in acrylics and watercolors painting a variety of subjects with the primary focus being on color and light. Sandra has studied with Anne Naggie, Robert Baxter, and Anna Francis. Her work also includes ceramics and wood carvings. The ceramics are colorful and often featuring fish found in the Long Island Sound. Fish decoys are hand carved and painted in the style of the authentic decoys used in years past of ice fishing in upper New York.
