William Ternes (1933-2014) was a watercolor and oil painter known for his vibrant use of color in the natural world where he painted plein air for most of his life. Bill was a master member of the Copley Society of Boston, a member of the Guild of Boston Artists, and a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society. Nancy Gramps began painting in grade school and earned her B.S. degree in Studio Art at Skidmore College. During graduate school she designed and produced fundraising brochures for a local college. After graduating, she worked in advertising for products like Cheerios and NyQuil, and later created advertising targeted toward the English-speaking community for companies and local merchants in Frankfurt, Germany.
